Hi, I’m Melina — and welcome to The Millennial Dollar.

This business started the same way most real financial journeys do… at my kitchen table with a calculator, a stack of bills, and the determination to finally take control of our money.

Like a lot of millennials, I wasn’t taught how to budget growing up. No one showed us how to save, plan ahead, or build wealth. It was a lot of trial, error, overdraft fees, and “figure it out as you go.”

So I did exactly that.

I found cash stuffing and envelope budgeting, and everything changed.

Physically seeing my money, organizing it into categories, and giving every dollar a purpose helped me stop feeling behind and finally feel confident. Budgeting became peaceful instead of stressful. Intentional instead of reactive.

And once it started working for my family… I knew other women needed this too.

That’s how The Millennial Dollar was born.

What started as my own budgeting system quickly turned into sharing my journey online, helping other women take control of their finances, and creating beautiful, functional tools that actually make you want to budget.

Because let’s be honest — if it’s cute and organized, we’re way more likely to use it.
